About the speaker

Bringing decades of fiscal expertise to Head Start

Perry Davis brings decades of hands-on experience helping Head Start programs navigate complex fiscal and compliance requirements. As CEO of The Management Institute LLC, Perry specializes in federal grants and cooperative agreements, grant writing, and helping organizations modernize their financial processes.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Finance and a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management, both from Jackson State University.

Perry serves as an adjunct instructor with the Academy at the National Head Start Association and has conducted workshops at the national, regional, and state levels for Head Start associations across the country. Known for his practical, direct teaching style, Perry focuses on helping programs understand not only what the regulations require but how to operationalize those requirements successfully within real-world Head Start environments.

Speaker check-in opens at 8:00 AM at the HSE LIVE registration desk on the Event Center concourse. Look for the cream and navy banner.

Meals and breaks

Continental breakfast and lunch are provided both days in the adjacent ballroom. Speaker green room with refreshments next to Seneca.

Thursday evening
